RAMSEY, NJ - August 14, 2014 - PureLink today announced the launch of its PureAssurance HDBaseT™ Certification Program which features newly developed tests and parameters to ensure the performance of the latest HDBaseT-enabled display devices, such as projectors and digital signage displays, with PureMedia™ HDBaseT™ outputs and extender transmitters, as well as HDTools™ HDBaseT™ extenders and distribution amplifiers.Unified Communication Solutions
HDBaseT™ offers many advantages for both consumer and professional digital signal distribution applications. The ability to transport HDMI video, audio, RS-232 control, IR, and Ethernet over the same cable provides A/V integrators with a "Swiss Army Knife" in functionality and system manageability.
As more device manufacturers are adding HDBaseT™-enabled products to their lineup, integrators are finding more ways to simplify installation with this technology. PureLink's wide range of HDBaseT™ distribution and extension solutions ensure direct compatibility and optimal signal transmission between the source and HDBaseT™-enabled device.
Now with comprehensive display testing and certification, PureLink adds even greater flexibility and reliability to any A/V system design.
“While HDBaseT is compatible with all HDMI formats and is fully HDCP compliant, control signal implementation varies among device manufacturers,” said Kevin Kang, Director of Technical Sales at PureLink. “It is important to test each device to ensure full audio, video, and control signal transmission. PureLink certified HDBaseT™ projection display manufacturers include Panasonic, Canon,Epson, Sony, and Digital Projection. Devices currently being tested for compatibility include LG, Barco, and Hitachi HDBaseT™ displays.
