The CMF and CMT’s slim design and patent-pending magnetically assisted installation feature, MAGNAGUIDE®, make it the ideal flat-panel accessory for fast and simple installation for today’s ultra-slim LED flat-panel TVs. The CMF is a flat version, while the CMT is the industry’s first tilting cable mount. These cable mounts easily install on a single stud and are designed to hold flat-panel displays up to 55”, or up to 65 lbs with a 200 × 200mm to 600 × 400mm VESA mounting pattern.
Simply mount the ‘V’-shaped 6” x 3” back plate to a wall stud and install the four flat-panel anchors to the back of the display. To adjust the tension, simply pull on the cables until tight and wrap excess cable around the adapter’s teeth which hold it in place. The cable adapter with MAGNAGLIDE® then snaps into the back plate and slides easily into place. A locking screw is provided to secure the cable adapter to the back plate. The self adjusting cable mount holds the display close to the wall and makes mounting and adjusting the display as easy as hanging a picture frame.
“As televisions keep getting slimmer and lighter, it seemed only natural to create a user friendly mount with a complimentary design.” explains Mike Bouissiere, Senior Design Engineer at Premier Mounts. “I was inspired when hanging a picture on the wall at home; it was so simple that I decided we could apply this same idea to hanging the new style of flat-panel”
While the CMF hangs flat, the CMT provides smooth tilt. The installer simply needs to lift from the bottom while pulling down from the top for desired tilt to achieve the perfect viewing angle. Both of Premier Mounts’ cable mounts versatile design allow for many installation options. Use the collapsible wall stand-off leg, included on one of the bottom flat-panel anchors, to prop up the display for easy A/V and power access. Add spacers, which are included with the cable mount kit, to align the display or to create more room between the display and wall.
Customers can also use an in-wall box, such as the GB-INWAVP, for additional equipment storage behind the display.
