Matrox® is pleased to announce that the Matrox Extio™ 3 high-performance IP KVM extenders were honored with a Best of Show Award at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2020. The prestigious AV awards program celebrates Extio 3 as a best-in-class IP KVM extension and switching solution capable of delivering secure, ultra-low-bitrate 4Kp60, dual 4Kp30, or quad 1080p60 video signals over a standard Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) network. At ISE 2020, Extio 3’s new efficiency-boosting Aggregator Mode also impressed industry judges with its ability to enable remote monitoring and control of multiple systems with a single keyboard and mouse.
“We are thrilled to be recognized by ISE’s Best of Show committee for our Extio 3 IP KVM product,” said Caroline Injoyan, business development manager at Matrox. “This award is a reflection of the ingenuity of our KVM-over-IP technology and of our commitment to bring forward secure, reliable, and easy-to-use solutions for our customers.”
Unmatched remote performance, feature set
Matrox® Extio 3 IP KVM extenders provide 4Kp60 4:4:4, dual 4Kp30 4:4:4, or quad 1080p60 4:4:4 desktop-quality video at 5% of the bandwidth required by most other products available in the market today. Featuring best-in-class multi-display resolution support, unprecedented flexibility, and advanced security features, the Matrox Extio 3 high-performance KVM extenders deliver an unparalleled and secure remote desktop experience. Configurable as a point-to-point or networked KVM, Extio 3 extends all audio, video, USB2.0, and RS232 signals over a single fiber-optic or CATx cable. Compatible with standard GigE network switches, Extio 3 delivers a scalable KVM matrix switching solution over IP, where any system can be securely accessed from any remote operator station—maximizing information flow for improved collaboration and decision making.
Smart IP KVM control
Matrox Extio 3 Series includes Matrox Extio Central Manager, an intuitive, easy-to-use software to remotely configure, manage, and monitor all network-connected Extio 3 units from one central location. Additionally, an on-screen display (OSD) on Extio 3 receiver appliances allows operators to conveniently preview all authorized computer desktops—readily identifiable via thumbnail previews—to instantly access and switch between multiple systems. For lower-level customization, integrators and developers can leverage Extio Central Manager APIs to build personalized Extio Central Manager applications and/or integrate Extio 3 functionality into existing control applications.
