Listen Technologies Offers InfoComm Certification Renewal Units

Listen Technologies Corporation has announced the availability of a Digital Conferencing Certification course. Participants completing the course will qualify for four InfoComm Certification RU credits.

The one-day course, which explores the technology of digital conferencing microphones along with their use and installation, is divided into two parts: Digital Conferencing Basics (Hardware) and Advanced Digital Conferencing (Software). The basic portion of the certification covers the hardware of a system and provides an overview of the pieces that make up a system and how each piece connects and works within the system. The advanced portion of the training provides an in-depth look at the specialized Digital Conferencing software and how it is installed and used.

 “Digital conference system microphones are becoming more prevalent in all types of applications over other traditional microphones due to their versatility and ease of use,” said Cory Schaeffer, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Listen. “The Digital Conferencing software functionality is new to our industry and we believe that in order for our dealers to fully understand the breadth of the functionality, completion of this course is a requirement to sell the software. Participants in this training course not only come away RU credits, but they can also offer a very specialized value on projects that their competitors cannot.”
