FSR Gears Up For ISE 2014 With Full Line of AV Switching, Control Gear, Connectivity Solutions And More For European Market
Posted on Thursday, January 23, 2014
Woodland Park, NJ  (23 January 2014) -- FSR, a leading manufacturer of a wide variety of products for the audio/video, education, hospitality, government, and religious markets, will return to ISE 2014 with a host of AV switching, control system and connectivity solutions, as well as offer an expert look into the benefits of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology during ISE’s educational program. ISE, Europe’s largest tradeshow for the professional AV and electronic systems industry, is held from February 4-6 in Amsterdam.

The company will feature its new Digital Ribbon mega-bandwidth HDMI cables, HuddleVU multi-user collaboration system, and highlight its T-6 Flex Control System, as well as accessories for the popular iPad® table, including a secure wall holder and a PoE to USB charger. In addition, FSR Director of Architectural Development, Jon Melchin, is scheduled to share his insights on BIM – a 3D design, modeling and simulation technology that has changed the way that architecture is practiced. Melchin’s presentation is planned for 11:30 – 12:30 on Wednesday, February 5 - day 2 of ISE, in Room D204 of the RAI Convention Center.

“FSR is thrilled to return to ISE 2014 and bring our continuously expanding product lines and industry expertise to the European market,” said company president Jan Sandri. “Our award-winning products, such as our Digital Ribbon Cables that were singled-out last year at InfoComm 2013, as well as our other product families are essential to professionals working in the broadcast, Pro AV and installation markets. We look forward to meeting with our European customers at this year’s show and demonstrate our technical knowledge while highlighting our diverse product lines and new technology solutions.”

Based on a proprietary composite technology, FSR’s Digital Ribbon Cables offer users the capacity to carry 1080p and 4k x 2k HDMI signals up to 325 feet, nearly twice that of other “extended” solutions, with crystal clear accuracy. The product’s ultra-simple, fast installation (just pull and plug), and money-saving ability to operate without transmitters or receivers add to its appeal.

The HuddleVU collaboration system allows for multiple users to share and view their laptops, tablets, and smart phone screens on a main display. Unlike conventional presentation systems, anyone participating can be a presenter or an audience member at any given time at the push of a button. LED's indicate which user is currently live and when the system is busy.

The T6-FLEX merges FSR’s powerful, easy-to-program room control system with its popular T6 table box for easy access to a full-range of AV equipment from an elegant table box.  Ideal for classrooms, boardrooms, training facilities and municipal meeting spaces, users can remotely change the volume, turn lights on and off, raise or lower the shades or screen from a touch screen integrated in the cover of a conveniently installed table box.

FSR will also highlight its popular and practical iPad® accessories. Engineered for strength, but designed for elegance, the iPad holder provides a graceful housing for digital signage applications.  The holder, compatible with the iPad 2 and the new iPad, mounts to a standard 2-gang wall box and provides an attractive, safe and secure method to mount the tablet to a wall in either landscape or portrait mode.  It is available with or without access to the home button and camera to fit any application requirements. The stylish housing features curved edges with no visible hardware, and is available in white, silver and black.

Another practical innovation, the company’s PoE to USB module offers a sensible tool for charging the iPad. The module meets the Apple iPad charging standards and can be used stand alone, with a table box, or with the iPad holder.  It can easily fit inside the 2-gang box behind the iPad mount for a clean installation.
