Long Beach, Calif. – Jan. 2, 2017 –Epson America, Inc., a leading supplier of value-added Point
of Sale (POS) solutions, today announced that it was named Best Channel Vendor for the 8th time
since the award’s inception in 2009, in the POS Hardware Technology category by Business
Solutions Magazine (BSM). BSM conducted a web-based survey of VAR, MSP and ISV
subscribers during the first two weeks of October and collected a total of 5,382 votes from solution
providers, making it the largest survey of its kind. The survey was published in its January 2017
issue.
“Our Best Channel Vendor Awards are designed to provide solution providers with insight into the
vendor partners that are viewed by their peers as the best-of-the-best,” said Mike Monocello,

The top 5% of vendors in each surveyed technology category were selected as Best Channel
Vendors. To ensure statistical accuracy, BSM partnered with Penn State University and asked VARs
to rate their vendors based on seven categories including: Service/Support, Channel Friendly,
Channel Program, Product Features, Product Reliability, Product Innovation and Adequate VAR
Margins. Epson earned close to the highest ranking in each category, earning the company the title
of Best Channel Vendor.
