PITTSBURGH — June 3, 2021 — Black Box, a global information technology solutions provider, is teaming up with NETGEAR, the leading provider of networking technology for small businesses, smart homes and online game play, to sponsor an online SDVoE™ Design Partner Certification Live event to be hosted on both June 10 and June 16. The professionally produced training program will guide participants in becoming consultants and designers who can advise integrators, installers and end users in leveraging the SDVoE standard for high-performance AV network deployments. Participants will gain practical tips, guidance for immediate application and inspiration for future projects.
"Black Box has taken full advantage of training from the free SDVoE Academy website, not just to educate and certify SDVoE trainers internally, but also to spread the word and empower others to work with SDVoE technology," said Justin Kennington, president of the SDVoE Alliance. "It’s great to see NETGEAR and Black Box working together again to bring this event to the AV market."
Led by certified SDVoE design consultants, the 3-hour online live virtual training is designed to give attendees the knowledge to take advantage of all that SDVoE technology and AV over IP have to offer, particularly in comparison to traditional AV matrix switching. SDVoE Design Partner Certification also makes attendees eligible for one AVIXA CTS or CTS-D Renewal Unit.
"The interactive virtual online format for our SDVoE Design Partner Certification Live event makes it easier than ever to learn how the pros at Black Box and NETGEAR use this incredible technology to provide high-performance AV and advanced matrix switching capabilities on a truly converged AV and IT network," said Doug Kuzma, vice president, product management and solutions at Black Box.
"Networking technology plays a vital role in modern AV production, and our expertise in this area makes NETGEAR a natural fit for this SDVoE Design Partner Certification Live event," said Laurent Masia, director, product line management for NETGEAR. "We are proud to be sponsoring this event and look forward to highlighting the capabilities of our network switches engineered for AV over IP."
The training will take place on June 10 and June 16 to accommodate different time zones. More information is available at https://www.blackbox.com/en-us/events/sdvoe-design-partner-certification-live.
