An 80,000 square foot SportChek/Atmosphere store in Edmonton, Canada, wanted to provide consumers with access to world-leading digital technology through 800 screens populated by 220 channels. The screens display product images and deals, store-wide anthems and community walls filled with local sports information.
The project included:

25 large-format tabs
Over 1,200 square feet of digital projection.
Telus of Toronto turned to Chief’s Fusion line of mounts as well as heavy duty universal projector mounts to meet the compressed time schedule for the project. Telus also benefitted from their previous experience with the same company.
“They were able to create video wall drawings with elevations showing all the mounting points for all the mounts in many different configurations, which helped speed up time,” said James Nickerson, Project Manager.
The customer said, “The store is brilliant, feedback is outstanding and it’s quite astonishing what was delivered in such a short period of time.”
The store got lots of press for the opening and earned Telus a 2014 Award of Excellence from the Digital Screenmedia Association for Best Retail Digital Signage.
