The ES-466E is an eight digit, presettable 24 hour SMPTE Up/Down Timer (00:00:00:00 - 23:59:59:29) with five front panel mounted controls (UP, DOWN, STOP, RESET and PRESET) and an eight digit display. All displays are 0.56" amber LED digits. A SMPTE output is provided on the rear panel XLR connector. The "Bit Order Forward" toggle switch on the rear panel allows the unit to mimic decks that always output "forward" bit order code. EBU Time code is optional.

- D---Remote Control: This option consists of a connector wired to switches on a control plate via a six-foot cable. Extra cable available.
- ESE---ESE Time Code Output: An ESE Time Code output is provided allowing the unit to drive ESE Time Code Slaves.
- EBU---EBU Time Code: The unit is configured to output EBU Time Code instead of SMPTE (standard, or at no charge on many units).
- J---220 VAC/50 Hz Operation: The unit is configured to operate from 220 VAC line voltage. 117 VAC 50/60 Hz is standard.
- P---19" Front Panel (Rack Mount): Designed for mounting into a standard equipment rack. Panel is 1/8" clear or black anodized Aluminum and chassis is 5" - 10" deep.
- N---Reverse Count at Zero: Changes count direction from Down to Up at Zero.
- R---Remote Input: Rear-mounted connector for Remote Control.
- UL---"UL" Approved Power Supply: The unit is supplied with a UL/CSA approved wall mount power supply.
- Y---Relay Closure at Zero: Reed Relay for Control Applications (10W max load; 500ma switching current).
- Z---Stop with reed relay closure at Zero (10W max load; 500ma switching current).
