2.2MP 3MOS P2 handheld camcorder offers advanced high-performance features like (Ultra Luminance Technology (U.L.T.), and AVC-intra codec to enable high-quality recording of full-HD (1920 x 1080), 10-bit, 4:2:2 full sample images. And exclusive to the HPX255 is a remote terminal that makes it compatible with Panasonic’s AG-EC4 paint box remote control. This optional remote control unit has the ability to control virtually all menu, set-up and gamma functions that can be accessed directly through the camcorder’s on-board menu, including shutter, iris, gain, filter positions and detail. The optional EC4 comes with a 10m BNC cable that will output the menu onto a monitor. This combines with Genlock input, TC input and output, and HD SDI output to allow multi-camera operation that includes camera control.
